Lochgilphead is a small town on the west coast of Argyll, less than an hour to Oban by car, 30 minutes to Inveraray by car, and also only 30 minutes to Tarbert by car. Lochgilphead sits mid way along the west coast of Loch Fyne between Tarbert and Inveraray, and Ardrishaig is only a few minutes drive away. The Crinan Canal runs between Crinan and Ardrishaig and alongside the small town of Lochgilphead.
